The secret of a brandy cake

We’ve been told time and time again that our brandy cake is “superb,” and people continually ask us what our secret is. The answer is simple, quality ingredients with a touch of love in our secret sauces!

Our version of a brandy cake starts with a simple chocolate cake batter; then we add maraschino cherry juice, cherry brandy, and chopped walnuts for texture. We encrust the top of each cake with additional walnuts which will ensure a beautiful presentation every time. While the cake is baking, we prepare our signature cherry brandy sauce that we will soak into the cake at least three times after the baking process has finished. With our Petite, Medium, and Grande sized cakes, we also include 4 ounces of our special cherry brandy icing; This will allow the consumer to control the level of sweetness as they can drizzle as little, or as much as they like once the cake is ready to be eaten.

We like to think that it is the level of “a mother’s love” that makes this cake so good, but the special sauces that we make can’t hurt either.
